Description

Succulent Chicken Turkey Bacon Ranch Sliders deliver irresistible party-perfect flavors in one compact bite. Layers of savory meats, zesty ranch, and melted cheese create a crowd-pleasing appetizer you can’t resist enjoying at game day gatherings or casual celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale

Protein:

  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled turkey bacon

Cheese and Dairy:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup prepared ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (salted or unsalted)

Seasonings and Herbs:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Minced fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Bread:

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls, butter rolls, or potato rolls)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking setup by heating the oven to 350F (175C). Create a lined baking pan with foil or parchment paper, lightly coated with cooking spray.
  2. If rolls are not pre-sliced, carefully separate them horizontally using a serrated knife, maintaining their connected structure.
  3. Create the filling mixture in a large bowl by combining turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper. Thoroughly incorporate shredded chicken until evenly coated.
  4. Position the bottom roll section in the prepared pan with cut side facing upward. Distribute the chicken filling uniformly across the surface.
  5. Cover the filling with the top roll section, positioning the cut side downward.
  6. Prepare garlic butter topping by blending melted butter with garlic powder. Generously brush or pour the mixture across the slider surface.
  7. Protect the sliders with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes until achieving a golden brown and crispy exterior.
  8. Allow sliders to rest for 5 minutes after removing from oven. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley before serving while warm.

Notes

  • Customize the protein by swapping chicken with pulled pork, shredded beef, or plant-based alternatives for diverse dietary preferences.
  • Reduce sodium by using low-sodium ranch dressing, turkey bacon, and light cheese options for heart-conscious individuals.
  • Make these sliders gluten-free by selecting gluten-free dinner rolls and checking ingredient labels for ranch dressing and mayonnaise.
  • Elevate meal prep by preparing filling ahead of time and storing in refrigerator for up to 2 days, allowing quick assembly when ready to bake.
